Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and skilled independently licensed psychotherapists to provide outpatient mental health services. This role offers full clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, and complete administrative and credentialing support. Clinicians provide individual, couples, or family therapy to clients navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and general behavioral health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Service Delivery: Conduct individual, couples, and/or family psychotherapy sessions with children, adolescents, adults, or geriatrics based on your clinical specialties.

  • Assessment & Diagnosis: Perform initial psycho-social assessments, establish accurate psychiatric diagnoses, and formulate individualized, client-centered treatment plans.

  • Clinical Documentation: Complete timely assessment reports, progress notes, measurement tools (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7, PCL-5), treatment plan updates, and discharge summaries in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

  • Consultations: Conduct brief 15-minute prospective client consultation calls to evaluate clinical fit and align client goals.

  • Ethical & Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict HIPAA compliance, adhere to professional codes of ethics (NASW, ACA, AAMFT, or APA), and comply with AZBBHE regulations.

  • Practice Alignment: Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the individual needs of each client.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy, from an accredited institution.

  • Licensure: Active, unencumbered independent license in the state of Arizona through the AZBBHE (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners (Licensed Psychologist).

  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy, conducting clinical assessments, and managing diverse mental health presenting problems.

  • Clinical Knowledge: Demonstrated proficiency in psychiatric diagnoses, medical charting, and evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, Gottman Method, Brainspotting, or trauma-informed interventions.

  • Credentials & Clearances:

    • Active Individual NPI Number

    • Up-to-date CAQH Profile

    • Current Professional Liability / Malpractice Insurance

    • Valid Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card

  • Competitive Split-Based Compensation: Generous contractual rates based on EAP and commercial insurance contracts ranging from $81 to $130 per session.

    • 1-Year Contract Option: 70/30 split

    • 2-Year Contract Option: 75/25 split

  • Full Administrative Support: We handle billing, claims submission, client payment collection, intake coordination, and initial consent paperwork.

  • Insurance Credentialing & Panel Placement: Assistance with credentialing across major insurance carriers (BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, UHC) and EAP programs.

  • Practice Infrastructure: Provision of secure HIPAA-compliant EHR (SimplePractice), practice telehealth software, professional business phone line, and practice email address.

  • Marketing & Referral Flow: Steady referral system to help build and maintain your preferred caseload size, alongside profile placement on practice directories and Psychology Today.

  • Flexibility & Autonomy: Complete freedom to build and manage your own clinical schedule (Remote Telehealth or In-Office in Chandler, AZ).

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Work Environment: Remote work via secure telehealth platform or in-office clinical space.

  • Physical Demands: Involves sitting for approximately 90% of the workday, with standing or walking for the remainder. Occasional lifting or carrying of files/equipment up to 20 pounds.
