These obstacles often manifest as emotional stagnation or a sense of being overwhelmed by circumstances beyond one’s control. Throughout life, many find themselves seeking solutions and ways to regain their sense of agency. Patrick offers a supportive environment characterized by warmth, empathy, and professional transparency, serving as a dedicated guide for clients as they pursue a life defined by balance, serenity, and lasting fulfillment.
Patrick is currently a Master of Social Work (MSW) intern at Grand Canyon University within the advanced standing program, with an anticipated graduation date in May 2027. This academic background provides him with a contemporary understanding of evidence-based interventions and social justice frameworks. He delivers therapeutic services under the clinical supervision of Ryan Young, LCSW, at Gray's Counseling of Arizona PLLC, ensuring a high standard of professional care. Throughout his professional tenure, Patrick has committed himself to assisting adolescents and adults—including both individuals and couples—as they address a broad spectrum of concerns relating to general mental health, autism, ADHD, trauma, complex dynamics in interpersonal relationships, and the deep intricacies of bereavement.
Patrick possesses extensive expertise in guiding couples through the challenges they may face, such as raising a child with special needs or helping couples with the unique stressors and emotional demands that could impact their relationship. He employs a client-centered and strength-based methodology, ensuring that each individual is empowered and heard throughout the therapeutic process. By utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and the Gottman Method, Patrick assists clients in rebuilding the self-assurance required to manage life's adversities and foster healthier connections. This integrative approach allows for highly personalized treatment plans that respect the unique history of each client. In addition, Patrick is experienced in providing faith-based therapy for individuals who prefer to integrate their spiritual principles and values into their clinical treatment, providing a holistic path toward healing.
